Alice A. Erdmann Obituary

Alice A. (Cooney) Erdmann, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Robert G. Erdmann. Born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late David C. and Pauline R. (Tourville) Cooney.

She was employed by the New England Telephone Co., Department of Defense, and Macy’s Department Store, among many others, as a switchboard operator for many years, before retiring.

Alice was the beloved mother of William T. Erdmann, Roy C. Erdmann, and Diane L. Cormier; devoted grandmother of Zachary Erdmann, Kyle Erdmann, Jennifer Gaudlap, Patricia Mello, Peter Furmanick, Jessica Veltri, Amy Beebe, Gloria Erdmann, Samantha Cieciorka, and Heidi Erdmann. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Alice was predeceased by her son, John R. Erdmann, and siblings, William D. Cooney and Pauline E. Hickey.

Her private Funeral Liturgy will take place in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home of North Kingstown with burial to follow in St. Mark Cemetery, Jamestown.
