Claire Roy Obituary

ROY, Claire T. (Paul), age 80, of Robert Street, West Warwick died on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the RI Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of the late Hidola M. Roy.

Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Emile and Exilia (Laroche) Paul, she was a life-long resident of the Pawtuxet Valley.

Mrs. Roy was a communicant of SS. John & James Parish in West Warwick and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.

She is survived by two sons, David C. Roy of Leominster, Ma. and Normand J. Roy and his wife, Lorrie of Coventry; her granddaughter, Kelli A. Roy; a brother, Robert Paul of Coventry; and a sister, Doris Burdick of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Henri, Maurice, David, Raymond, and Adelard Paul, Lucille Rawls, and Lucienne Laroche.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, December 19, at 9 a.m. from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
