James T. Sullivan, Sr. Obituary

James T. Sullivan, Sr., 74, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gail M. (Fontaine) Sullivan for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James A. and Mary C. (Hogan) Sullivan. James was the loving father of James T. Sullivan, Jr. and Christopher J. Sullivan, (Athena); loving grandfather of Isabella, Delaney, and Madelyn Sullivan; brother of Mary Beth Smith, Deborah Sheldon, Paul Sullivan and Elizabeth S. Lang. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Sullivan was a physical education teacher and coach for 31 years for the Warwick School Department. He then went to be the residential director for Ocean tides for over 10 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private.
