Manuel J. Medeiros, 76, of West Warwick passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Genesis of Greenville Health Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Caroline (Rebeiro) Medeiros.
He was born in Warwick on August 27, 1944, a son of the late Manuel and Mary (Furtado)n Medeiros. Manuel worked as a batch maker at the former Hoechst Celanese Company in Coventry for many years.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, West Warwick Fire Department Captain Keith A. Medeiros of West Warwick; two brothers, Dennis Medeiros and Gene Medeiros both of Florida; a sister, Diane Medeiros of Coventry; and two grandchildren, Kyle Medeiros and Ashley Medeiros.
His funeral will be private. Interment in the Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick will also be private. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association - R.I. Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, R.I. 02906.
