Richard “Dick” D. Palmisciano, age 78 of North Kingstown, formerly of Florida, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Chrostowski) Palmisciano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dante R. and Doris I. (Cardarelli) Palmisciano.
A U.S. Army veteran, Dick served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Burger King Corporate Office as Vice President before retiring. Dick was a member of many veteran organizations in Florida. He was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
In addition to his wife, Janet, Mr. Palmisciano is survived by his son, Paul Palmisciano (wife, Sarah) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughter, Susan Leite (husband, Brian) of Franklin, MA; 3 grandsons, Dylan, Nicholas, and Christopher; and his sister, Bessie Palmisciano of Newington, New Hampshire.
Due to current health concerns, his interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the RI Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter where military funeral honors will be rendered.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904, will be appreciated.
