Rose C. Larochelle Obituary

Rose C. (Chudy) Larochelle, 93, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was the wife of the late Richard N. Larochelle for 59 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Evelyn (Palmer) Chudy. Mrs. Larochelle has been a resident of Harrisville for over 30 years. Rose loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved holidays, cooking and going to her grandchildren’s dance recitals, band concerts and sporting events.
She was the loving mother of John R. Larochelle and his wife Joan of Harrisville, Karen M. Fregeau of Chepachet, Laura A. Turcotte and her husband Alan of Pascoag, Joseph S. Larochelle and his wife Donna of Harriville and the late Christine A. Sadowski. She was the sister of Irene Paquin, Jane Rousseau and the late Martin, Anthony, John, Vincent, Paul, Michael and Francis Chudy. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Brian Larochelle, Stephanie Bradley, Kassandra Larochelle, Jaime Fregeau, Kaitlyn Robinson, Jake Turcotte and Jarrod Turcotte and 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 45 Main St., Harrisville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914, would be appreciated. Seating is limited, Face masks and social distancing will be observed at the Mass.
